Emil Eve Architects is an award-winning East-London based studio, established in 2009 by Ross and Emma Perkin. We create imaginative and inspiring buildings and spaces for people who love architecture - from design-focused home owners to creatively-driven developers and commercial clients.

We have a deep appreciation for both historic and contemporary architecture and extensive experience of combining the two. Our diverse portfolio includes housing, cultural buildings, workspace and hospitality projects and exhibition design.

Innovative, ambitious and pragmatic, we enjoy problem-solving and specialise in challenging briefs – from obtaining complex planning consents to working sensitively with listed buildings. A commitment to sustainability informs all of our work.

"Often faced with the challenge of introducing modern design into historic and listed buildings in London, the practice’s astute perspective on contemporary design prevails."
The Modern House

“We have been impressed with their design solutions, technical and material knowledge and their success at gaining planning permission for complex situations including work to listed buildings and projects in conservation areas.”
David, client / developer, Charlotte Road, Red Lion Street, Marvic House

“Working with Emma and Ross has been a total joy. They are truly visionary architects with immaculate taste, whilst being very down-to-earth and great to work with.”
Jude, Client, Leaside Avenue

The studio is a member of the Dalston Architecture Collective and part of the Collaboration Summit, a group of architecture practices in London committed to collaborative working practice.

Our accreditation as a RIBA Conservation Architect enables us to work with clients across the heritage sector including the National Trust and other charitable bodies as well as local councils.
