Emil Eve Architects have been the lead designers for the development of five of our properties since 2012. We have been impressed with their design solutions, technical and material knowledge and their success at gaining planning permission for complex situations including work to listed buildings and projects in conservation areas. Emil Eve are highly adept at coordinating the design and construction teams, working to programme, and being pragmatic when working to budget constraints.

I was impressed by the light touch interventions which gave the warehouse apartment a new identity. The project stands as an example for continued use of a long-lasting, but carbon intensive brick and concrete structure supported by high quality timber interiors.

When searching for architects,  we wanted a firm who would push things a bit further, and who had an eye for design so they'd help us inject life and colour into the house. And we'd have to say Emil Eve did just that! All in all, we really love our house now. The space really works for us, we have colour and real design features where we previously had bland! And whereas once it was painful to even have friends for dinner (let alone guests staying!), now it's a pleasure to fill the space with people.

They reconfigured and designed the flat to make the best possible use of space. They added a new kitchen with a white Corian worktop, bespoke ash shelving, tiles in the hallway and a bathroom with underfloor heating and lots of clever storage to make the most of the space – it’s only 45 square metres but feels far bigger."
